The second Korean team (Hanwha-Samsung combined team) lost 4 to 6 in the game against the Yomiuri Giants held at Sun Marine Stadium in Miyazaki, Japan on the 10th.

Hanwha, Samsung, and Doosan Bears formed a joint team on the 9th and participated in the Miyazaki Educational League in Japan. The three teams consistently participated in the Miazaki Educational League until 2019, but were unable to compete in the game starting in 2020 due to restrictions on entry into the country due to the spread of COVID-19.

They expressed their intention to participate again this year, but there were only two empty seats, and after putting their heads together, the three clubs agreed to form a joint team. Doosan and Hanwha became the main players, and Samsung divided the players. Each team consisted of 20 players, with the 1st Korean team featuring 20 Doosan players and 10 Samsung players, and the 2nd Korean team featuring 20 Hanwha players and 10 Samsung players. While the game on the 9th was canceled due to rain, the Korean team’s first game was held on the 10th.

The two Korean teams on this day were Yuro-Gyeol (left fielder) – Jang Jin-hyuk (center fielder) – Ha Joo-seok (shortstop) – Kim Tae-hoon (designated hitter) – Kim Young-woong (third baseman) – Kim Geon (first baseman) – Heo Gwan-hoe (catcher) – Ryu Seung-min (right fielder) -The starting lineup was formed in the order of Lee Min-jun (second baseman).

The second Korean team will play against the Nippon Ham Fighters at Himuka Stadium on the 11th.
